About InfoCat

Why I Built This

I've been playing Rise of Kingdoms for years. I love the strategy, the community, the thrill of KvK, but I was spending more time in spreadsheets than in the game. Tracking speedups, training queues, and event windows by hand got old fast, and I figured there had to be a better way.

So I built one. InfoCat started as a scrappy personal project: a bot that read my own screenshots and turned them into something I could actually glance at, instead of digging through menus and retyping numbers into a spreadsheet every night. I wasn't trying to build a product. I just wanted my own account tracking to stop being a chore. I'm not a studio or a company, just a governor who enjoys building tools in his spare time.

What changed things was sharing it with a few friends in my own server. They started using it, then asking for more: a calculator here, a reminder there, a way to plan a talent build without opening yet another spreadsheet. Word spread to other servers, and pretty soon the feature list wasn't just coming from what I needed anymore; it was coming from what the community was asking for. The event calendar, the talent builder, and a lot of the calculator presets all exist because someone in Discord said "it would be great if..." and I sat down and built it. InfoCat grew from a one-person fix into something shaped by the governors actually using it. That's still how it works today. Most of what's on the roadmap started as a suggestion, not my own itch to scratch.

Our mission is simple: Track progress. Simplify data. Optimize gameplay.

That mission comes with a promise, too. It's my goal to keep every core feature free, full stop. The only things I'll ever charge for are pure cosmetics, like custom background themes, nothing that changes how well the bot actually works or what it can do for you.
